Louisemarié Combrink is a South African visual artist and Senior Lecturer in History of Art at North-West University’s Potchefstroom Campus.
Her practice spans painting, installation, and photography, and is closely tied to practice-led research. She explores intersections between visual and literary art, with particular interest in visual narratology, gender studies, and themes of conflict and war. Louisemarié exhibits regularly and is actively involved in curatorial, academic, and research-based art practices.
